Rick was previously co-founder, President & CEO of Texas Direct Auto, a Houston-founded dealership that pioneered buying and selling vehicles online. Founded in 2002, it grew to a near billion dollars in annual sales by 2015. Texas Direct Auto was acquired by a venture firm in 2016 and now operates under the name Vroom.com. Prior to Texas Direct Auto, Rick was founder and CEO of Tenaid Technologies, which specialized in billing solutions for the newly deregulated energy markets in the late 90s. The company was acquired in 2001.
